Eid al-Adha
Eid al-Adha (Id ul-Adha) is an Islamic festival falling on the 10th day of the month of Dhul Hijja (Thou al-Hijja) to commemorate the willingness of Ibrahim (Abraham) to sacrifice his son.
For Muslims around the world, Eid ul Fitr marks the end of Ramadan, the Islamic holy month of fasting and prayer. It is one of the largest and most important celebrations in the Islamic calendar.
Is Eid al-Fitr a Public Holiday?
Eid al-Fitr is not a public holiday. Businesses have normal opening hours.
Eid ul Fitr is a time to share great food with family and friends.
